In the town of Pag there is a new old place to visit.
In front of the old salt storage you can admire the beautiful statue presenting a saline worker.
The author Tomislav Kršnjavi cast it in the Ujević foundry in Zagreb.
I discovered art after my parents died. The art of Chinese calligraphy gave me tranquility I desperately needed, but also introduced me into the world of brushes, paper materials and different hand movements. After a while I added colors and shapes which led me into the art of watercolor. One of my first watercolors presents tulips in a vase made of Chinese letters meaning She. Today I do not add Chinese letters into my art but I constantly move my hand in the way I used to write calligraphy

Darka walks with Marko
Despite the fact that I work along the whole Croatian coast and always ready to show you all the beauties of my country, this year I will spend most of the time in Split, as it is all about my thematic tour, that I have dedicated to our Croatian poet Marko Marulić.
