There was an opening of our 25th annual exhibition yesterday so I decided to put a link of my Napredak profile where you can see my very first watercolors. Under number 7 there is the one with the name She (Ona)
I discovered art after my parents died. The art of Chinese calligraphy gave me tranquility I desperately needed, but also introduced me into the world of brushes, paper materials and different hand movements. After a while I added colors and shapes which led me into the art of watercolor. One of my first watercolors presents tulips in a vase made of Chinese letters meaning She. Today I do not add Chinese letters into my art but I constantly move my hand in the way I used to write calligraphy
